    Salmon sashimi with avocado and wasabi cream

    A hot dish that leaves you wanting more. Perfect as a starter or small snack.
    Ingredients
    servings
      • 400 g 1 salmon fillet, sashimi quality
    • Avocado cream
      • 1 1 avocado
      • 1 tsp 1 lemon juice
      • 2 tsp 1 lemon juice
      • 2 tsp 1 wasabi paste, or more according to taste
    • Lime oil
      • 1 1 lime, juice and zest
      • 2 tbsp 1 olive oil
      • 1.5 tbsp 1 black sesame seeds

    Method

    1. Place the avocado flesh, lemon juice and wasabi paste in a bowl and blend with a hand blender to make a smooth cream.

    2. Slice the salmon thinly and spread over a serving plate.

    2. Mix the juice and zest of one lime with the olive oil and black sesame seeds.

    3. Serve the salmon sashimi topped with the lime oil and sesame seeds, with the avocado cream on the side.
